Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- whole garlic cloves - 4 item
- crushed red pepper optional - 1/2 tsp
- head escarole - 1 item
- can cannellini beans with juice - 1 oz
How to make greens and beans:
Wash and tear escarole. Slowly saute garlic cloves in oil. Add red pepper, water and beans and cook. Add greens that have already been steamed in separate pan. Salt and pepper to taste. May top with grated Parmesan cheese.Recipe categories: Side dish, Beans, Greens.
