Green pepper steak
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 1 2
- clove garlic - 1 item
- round steak - 1 lb
- stock or bouillon - 2 c
- chopped onion or more to taste - 1/2 c
- or 2 large green peppers, cut in bite size pieces - 1 item
How to make green pepper steak:
Cut steak diagonally in thin slices about 2 inches long. Heat oil in skillet or wok (medium heat). Put garlic and meat in skillet and brown. Add vegetables, salt, pepper and ginger. Cook until tender. Combine cornstarch, stock and soy sauce. Add to skillet and bring to boil until thick. Serve over cooked rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, White rice.
