  • pkg - 2 oz
  • chopped onion - 3/4 c
  • mushrooms, sliced - 1 lb
  • black pepper - 3/4 tsp
  • jar Cheez Whiz - 1 oz
  • slices bacon - 10 item

How to make green bean casserole:

Cook bacon until crisp. Drain. Reserve 1/4 cup drippings. Crumble bacon. Reserve 2 tablespoons bacon. Microwave beans as directed and drain. Add mushrooms, onion and 1/4 cup drippings in skillet. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Drain. Add beans, bacon and pepper. Mix lightly Put in 2-quart baking dish. Microwave cheese and pour over bean mixture. Sprinkle bacon on top.
