Granny cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• stick margarine - 1/2 item
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan
• 2 can crushed pineapple, undrained

How to make granny cake:

Mix flour, sugar, pineapple (and juice), eggs, soda and salt. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix together 1/2 cup nuts and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and pour on icing.Icing:1 c. evaporated milk1/2 stick margarine1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla Mix all ingredients and boil 1 minute. Pour over cake.
