  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • pecans - 1 c
  • butter, melted - 1/4 c
  • unbaked pie shell - 1 item
  • dark Karo syrup - 1 c

How to make grandma's pecan pie:

Mix sugar, butter and salt. Add beaten eggs and then vanilla, syrup and pecans. Pour in unbaked pie shell and bake 45 minutes at 350°.
