Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 5 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• stick margarine - 1 item
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• Crisco - 1 c
• lemon - 1 tsp

How to make golden pound cake:

Cream Crisco and margarine. Add sugar; mix well. Add eggs one at a time. Blend well. Add flavorings. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
