Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 4 tsp
- shortening
- molasses - 1/2 c
- ginger - 2 Tbsp
- cloves - 1 tsp
How to make gingersnaps:
Cream shortening, brown sugar, molasses and eggs well. Add remaining ingredients to creamed mixture. Form dough into balls. Roll dough balls in white sugar. Bake at 325° for 17 minutes. Yields 50 cookies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
