  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • soda - 4 tsp
  • shortening
  • molasses - 1/2 c
  • ginger - 2 Tbsp
  • cloves - 1 tsp

How to make gingersnaps:

Cream shortening, brown sugar, molasses and eggs well. Add remaining ingredients to creamed mixture. Form dough into balls. Roll dough balls in white sugar. Bake at 325° for 17 minutes. Yields 50 cookies.
