German pancakes
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
How to make german pancakes:
Put a 10-inch iron skillet in the oven. Preheat oven to 425°. Beat 2 eggs lightly. Add milk, flour, salt and nutmeg. Mix until blended. Let set for 10 minutes. Melt 1 tablespoon margarine in the skillet. Pour in batter. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve with melted butter and powdered sugar.
