  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 pt
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 lb
  • chopped nuts - 2 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 2 c
  • whole eggs - 4 item
  • jar maraschino cherries no liquid - 10 oz

How to make german nut cake:

Cream butter with sugar; add eggs. Add rest of ingredients. Fold in nuts and cherries. Bake in well-greased tube pan at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Very good.
