German nut cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- butter or margarine - 1/2 lb
- chopped nuts - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- whole eggs - 4 item
- jar maraschino cherries no liquid - 10 oz
How to make german nut cake:
Cream butter with sugar; add eggs. Add rest of ingredients. Fold in nuts and cherries. Bake in well-greased tube pan at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Very good.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, German.
