sugar - 2 Tbsp
vinegar - 3/4 c
pepper - 1/4 tsp
chopped onions - 1 c
cooked, sliced potatoes - 5 6
bacon slices, cut into 1/2-inch pieces - 6 item

How to make german hot potato salad:

In skillet, fry bacon until crispy. Pour off all but 1/4 cup of drippings. In drippings stir in onions, vinegar, sugar and pepper. Cook and stir over low heat until mixture simmers. Pour over potatoes and toss to combine. Garnish with crumbled bacon. Serves 6 to 8.
