German coleslaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- sauerkraut any kind - 1 qt
- oil you might like less - 1/2 c
- big onion, diced - 1 item
- dill weed more or less to taste - 1 Tbsp
- pimento or green pepper if desired, diced - 1 Tbsp
How to make german coleslaw:
Rinse sauerkraut in cold water really good. Squeeze out water. Mix oil, vinegar and sugar; pour out. Add the rest of ingredients. Refrigerate all day or overnight.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, German.
