  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • small onion, grated - 1 item
  • small cabbage, chopped - 1 item

How to make german coleslaw:

Mix together oil and vinegar. Bring to boil and pour over the cabbage, pepper, onion, sugar and salt. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Will keep 2 weeks in refrigerator.
