Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • vinegar - 1 c
  • salad oil - 1/3 c
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • powdered mustard - 1 tsp
  • medium head cabbage, shredded - 1 item

How to make german cole slaw:

Boil sugar, vinegar, oil and spices. Pour over cabbage while still hot. Let cool. Store in refrigerator; this will keep for one week.
