German chocolate cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 4 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• butter or margarine - 2 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• buttermilk - 1 c
• plain flour - 3 c
• Crisco - 1 c
• German sweet chocolate - 1 pkg

How to make german chocolate cake:

Cream together Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, butter and buttermilk. Mix well and add chocolate that has been melted over hot water. Blend well. Combine flour, soda and salt; stir into other mixture. Bake in prepared 9-inch tube pan 1 1/2 hours
