- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans
- pkg - 1 oz
- vanilla extract
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- egg yolks - 4 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- shredded coconut - 2 c
- sifted all-purpose flour - 2 c
- egg whites, beaten stiffly - 4 item
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy
How to make german chocolate cake:
Melt chocolate in boiling water; cool. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolks, 1 at a time, beating well after each. Blend in vanilla and chocolate. Sift flour with soda and salt; add alternately with buttermilk to chocolate mixtureRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Coconut.
