Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/4 c
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • medium zucchini, sliced - 1 item
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • medium carrot, shredded - 1 item
  • medium head cabbage, chopped - 1/2 item
  • small onion, sliced and separated into rings - 1 item
  • medium stalks celery, chopped - 2 item

How to make garden slaw:

Toss vegetables. Heat remaining ingredients to a boil. Boil 1 minute while stirring. Toss liquid into vegetables, mixing well. Refrigerate 3 hours.
