Fudge sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- unsweetened chocolate - 2 oz
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- brandy or vanilla - 2 Tbsp
How to make fudge sauce:
Melt together in double boiler chocolate and sugar. Add salt, light corn syrup, cornstarch and milk. Cook for 15 minutes, while stirring until it thickens. Add butter. Cool. Add brandy or vanilla.Note: The longer it cooks, the smoother it becomes.
