Fruit curry
Ingredients/Components
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- curry powder - 1 tsp
- oleo or butter - 3 4
- tall can pineapple chunks - 1 item
- 2 can apricot halves
- 2 can pear halves
- 2 can cling peach halves
- 2 can black pitted cherries
- or 3 sliced bananas optional - 2 item
How to make fruit curry:
Cut all fruit in half or fourths. Drain. Mix the sugar, flour and curry powder together and add to the fruit. Dot the butter on top. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Can be made ahead of time and reheated. Serves 6 to 8.I make this for family gatherings and it is a favorite at Wednesday Nite Live buffets!
