Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- white sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs, unbeaten - 2 item
- can fruit cocktail - 1 item
- condensed milk - 1/2 c
- can Angel Flake coconut - 1 item
- Stir until blended
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Combine sugar, soda, flour and salt. Stir until blended. Add eggs and fruit cocktail. Stir by hand until well mixed. Pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan. Over top sprinkle brown sugar and chopped nuts. Bake 40 to 45 minutes in a 325° oven.Icing:1 stick margarine3/4 c. white sugar1/2 c. condensed milk1 can Angel Flake coconut1 tsp. vanilla Bring to a boil margarine, sugar and milk; cook 10 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly.
