Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- evaporated milk - 3/4 c
- coconut - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- cake flour - 2 c
- can fruit cocktail - 16 oz
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Icing:1 c. sugar1 stick margarine3/4 c. evaporated milk1 c. coconut1 c. chopped nuts Mix ingredients by hand and pour into a greased and floured sheet cake pan. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.For icing: Boil sugar, margarine and milk for 10 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and add coconut and pecans. Let cake cool a few minutes before icing.
