Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- plain flour - 2 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- can dry coconut - 1 item
- can fruit cocktail medium size - 1 item
- Put all ingredients in bowl and mix thoroughly
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Sift together flour, salt and soda three times. Put all ingredients in bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour into flat pan and bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Grease pan with Crisco.Topping:1 small can Pet or Carnation milk1 c. white sugar1 stick butter1 can dry coconut Mix all ingredients and cook over low. Heat for about 10 minutes.
