Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt
- water - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- green pepper - 1 item
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- cabbage, chopped fine - 4 qt
- to 3 grated carrots - 1 item
How to make frozen cole slaw:
Sprinkle salt over chopped cabbage. Let stand 1 hour. Add carrots and pepper. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil. Let cool. Pour over cabbage mixture. Package in moisture vapor-proof material. Freeze.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Northeastern U.S..
