  • sugar - 2 c
  • salt
  • water - 1/4 c
  • vinegar - 1 c
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • green pepper - 1 item
  • mustard seed - 1 tsp
  • cabbage, chopped fine - 4 qt
  • to 3 grated carrots - 1 item

How to make frozen cole slaw:

Sprinkle salt over chopped cabbage. Let stand 1 hour. Add carrots and pepper. Bring remaining ingredients to a boil. Let cool. Pour over cabbage mixture. Package in moisture vapor-proof material. Freeze.
