Frozen chocolate mousse
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sq - 6 oz
- margarine, melted - 1/3 c
- eggs, separated room temperature - 3 item
- heavy cream, whipped
- pecans, chopped - 1/2 c
- pack graham crackers finely rolled - 1 item
How to make frozen chocolate mousse:
Combine graham cracker and margarine; press into bottom of spring-form pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes; cool. Beat together chocolate, egg, and vanilla; stir in pecans. Reserve 1 cup whipped cream; blend remaining into chocolate mixture. Beat egg whites until foamy; gradually beat in sugar until stiff. Fold into chocolate mixture; pour into prepared crust.
