Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 1/2 c
- cornmeal - 2 c
- pepper - 1 item
- peanut oil - 1 item
- catfish fillets - 1 item
- cayenne pepper optional - 1 item
How to make fried catfish:
Rinse fillets and soak in salt water for 5 minutes. Drain. In a paper sack, combine cornmeal, flour, salt and pepper. Mix well. Drop in fillets and shake to coat. Drop in fry pan with hot oil.
