Fresh strawberry pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• butter - 1 Tbsp
• cornstarch
• water - 1/4 c
• strawberries - 1 lb

How to make fresh strawberry pie:

Combine sugar and berries. Let stand until berries thaw. Drain juice and bring to a boil. Add cornstarch mixed with butter and water. Cook 2 minutes on low heat. Cool slightly and pour into baked 8-inch pie shell. Chill and top with whipped cream.
