Fresh blueberry pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- grated lemon rind - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- fresh blueberries - 4 c
- pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie
How to make fresh blueberry pie:
Mix all ingredients except butter and pastry. Roll out half the pastry 1/8-inch thick and line 9-inch pie pan. Pour in berry mixture. Dot with butter or margarine. Cover with the remaining pastry. Trim, turn under and flute edge. Cut a gash in top crust to allow steam to escape.
