Fresh blueberry cobbler

- sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- blueberries - 4 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 3 Tbsp
- milk - 1/2 c
How to make fresh blueberry cobbler:
Heat oven to 400°. Blend 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan. Stir in blueberries and lemon juice. Cook; stir constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Pour into an ungreased 2-quart casserole dish. Place in oven while preparing biscuit topping.Biscuit Topping: Measure flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Add shortening and milk. Cut through shortening 6 times; mix until dough forms a ball. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto hot fruit. Bake, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes, or until biscuit topping is golden brown.
