Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 3/4 c
- oil
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chopped apples - 3 c
How to make fresh apple pound cake:
Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar3/4 c. water1/2 c. sugar3 Tbsp. flour1/4 c. butter Cream sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. In a separate bowl, mix apples, flour, baking soda, baking powder, nuts and cinnamon. Add cream mixture to apple mixture. Blend well. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool.For topping, mix in saucepan and cook until mixture is clear. Pour warm topping on cake and let drizzle down sides.
