  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • chopped dates - 1 c
  • all-purpose flour - 3 c
  • salad oil
  • coconut flakes - 1 c
  • chopped apples - 3 c

How to make fresh apple cake:

Preheat oven to 325°. Mix oil and sugar. Add eggs, flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in apples, nuts, coconut and dates. Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours. Glaze while warm with your favorite glaze. This cake keeps well refrigerated and gets better as time goes on. Very moist.
