Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- butter - 2 c
- vanilla flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- powdered sugar
- cake flour - 4 c
- almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp
- lemon or orange juice - 1/4 c
How to make million dollar pound cake:
Topping (If Desired):1 1/2 c. powdered sugar1/4 c. lemon or orange juice Cream the butter. Add sugar gradually until well mixed. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well. Add flour alternately with milk. Add flavorings. Bake at 275° for 1 1/2 or 2 hours or until done in a 10-inch tube pan.If desired, mix powdered sugar and juice; pour topping over cake while warm. Let set for several hours.
