Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- chopped dates - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- chopped apples - 3 c
- Wesson oil
How to make fresh apple cake:
Combine sugar and oil in a large bowl. Stir to mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well into the sugar and oil. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add this mixture to the oil mixture. Stir well. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Spoon batter into a well-greased 10-inch tube pan and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
