Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1/2 item
- Wesson oil
- Add eggs one at a time
- a little milk - 1 item
How to make carrot cake:
Mix by hand sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time. Whip carrots into this. Then add dry ingredients. Bake in an 8 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. In some ovens it may take one hour.Icing:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 box powdered sugar1/2 stick oleo2 tsp. vanilla a little milk Mix cheese and powdered sugar, then add oleo and vanilla and as little milk as possible.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
