Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • stick oleo - 1/2 item
  • Wesson oil
  • Add eggs one at a time
  • a little milk - 1 item

How to make carrot cake:

Mix by hand sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time. Whip carrots into this. Then add dry ingredients. Bake in an 8 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. In some ovens it may take one hour.Icing:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 box powdered sugar1/2 stick oleo2 tsp. vanilla a little milk Mix cheese and powdered sugar, then add oleo and vanilla and as little milk as possible.
