  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • dates, chopped
  • chopped apples - 3 c
  • Wesson oil
  • vanilla butternut flavoring - 2 tsp

How to make fresh apple cake:

Beat eggs; sift dry ingredients. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the beaten eggs alternating with the Wesson oil; beat well. Add fruit and nuts; work well into mixture. Bake in prepared tube pan at 350° for about 1 hour or until done. Eat and enjoy plain with whipped cream or ice cream.
