- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- dates, chopped
- chopped apples - 3 c
- Wesson oil
- vanilla butternut flavoring - 2 tsp
How to make fresh apple cake:
Beat eggs; sift dry ingredients. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the beaten eggs alternating with the Wesson oil; beat well. Add fruit and nuts; work well into mixture. Bake in prepared tube pan at 350° for about 1 hour or until done. Eat and enjoy plain with whipped cream or ice cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
