Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oil - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • nuts - 1 c
  • plain flour
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • apples, chopped fine - 3 c

How to make fresh apple cake:

Cream oil, sugar and eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; add to mixture. Add apples and nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan; sprinkle butterscotch chips on top. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
