- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flaked coconut - 1 c
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie crust - 1 item
How to make french coconut pie:
Rub pie crust with egg white and bake in 400° oven for 2 minutes. (Egg white keeps the crust from becoming soggy.) Beat eggs slightly; add sugar and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and pour into pie crust. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375° and bake 15 minutes.
