French chocolate pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- butter - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 3 Tbsp
- unsweetened chocolate - 2 sq
- Bisquick
- softened oleo - 1/4 c
- thawed Cool Whip - 2 c
How to make french chocolate pie:
Bisquick Pie Shell:1 c. Bisquick1/4 c. softened oleo3 Tbsp. boiling water Filling: Melt 2 squares unsweetened chocolate; set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Stir in cool chocolate. Add eggs one at a time, beating a full 5 minutes at high speed. Fold in thawed Cool Whip. Pour into cooled, baked 9-inch Bisquick Pie Shell. Chill at least 2 hours, better if overnight.Bisquick Pie Shell: Preheat oven to 450°. Combine Bisquick and oleo in small bowl. Add water and stir vigorously until dough forms a ball and cleans bowl. (Dough will be puffy and soft.) Pat dough with floured hands into a 9-inch pan; bring dough to edge of pan. Flute edge. Prick bottom and side thoroughly with a fork. Bake 8 to 10 minutes; cool.
