Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- milk - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- each: vanilla, rum, coconut, lemon and butter flavoring - 1 tsp
- Cream until fluffy
- each flavor - 1 tsp
How to make five flavor cake:
Cream butter and shortening; add sugar. Cream until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each. Sift flour and baking powder; add a little at a time with milk. Stir in flavoring. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.Glaze:1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. water1 tsp. each flavor Combine and bring to a boil; pour over cake and cool in pan.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Very low carbs.
