Filled coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- oil - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- can fruit pie filling - 1 item
How to make filled coffee cake:
Mix by hand the sugars, oil and vanilla. Add eggs, flour and baking powder. Pour half of the batter into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Spread with pie filling. Pour remaining batter over the top. Sprinkle again with cinnamon and sugar. Bake in a 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Serves 15.Recipe categories: Breads, American, Coffee cakes.
