Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make feather bed rolls:
Scald the milk; remove from stove and add shortening and sugar. When cool, add yeast which has been dissolved in a little water. Then add flour and salt. Beat until smooth. Let rise to double in bulk. Beat again.Fill greased muffin tins 1/3 full. Allow to rise again to double in bulk. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
