  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • pkg - 2 oz
  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 6 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • grated cheese - 1 c
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • bread or cracker crumbs - 3/4 c

How to make escalloped corn:

In a 2 1/2-quart casserole, layer corn, salt, pepper, crumbs and cheese. Dot with butter. Repeat. Beat egg, sugar and milk together. Pour over corn. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cover for 1/2 hour, then uncover and top with paprika.
