Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- bread or cracker crumbs - 3/4 c
How to make escalloped corn:
In a 2 1/2-quart casserole, layer corn, salt, pepper, crumbs and cheese. Dot with butter. Repeat. Beat egg, sugar and milk together. Pour over corn. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cover for 1/2 hour, then uncover and top with paprika.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Corn.
