  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • water - 2 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • shortening - 2/3 c
  • raisins - 2 c
  • cloves - 1 tsp

How to make eggless spice cake:

Boil for 3 minutes the sugar, shortening, salt, cloves, water, raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg. Let cool. Add flour, baking soda and baking powder. Bake in 350° oven.
