- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
How to make tomato soup cake:
Cream the sugar and shortening. Add tomato soup mixed with baking soda. Rinse can with hot water. Blend in flour, spices and baking powder. Add raisins and salt. Pour into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until done.Frost with cream cheese and confectioners sugar frosting.
