  • vanilla
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking powder
  • egg whites - 3 item
  • Crisco - 1/2 c

How to make easy white cake:

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together, then add Crisco, milk and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes, then add egg whites and beat 2 minutes again. If you like, you can fold in batter 1/2 cup coconut or pink food coloring and teaberry flavoring. Makes 2 layer pans or one 13 x 9-inch.
