Easy vegetable beef soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 c
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- paprika - 2 tsp
- can tomatoes, cut up - 16 oz
- can condensed beef broth - 1 item
- bay leaves - 2 item
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- frozen mixed vegetables
- uncooked barley - 1/4 c
- lean boneless beef, cut into cubes - 3/4 lb
How to make easy vegetable beef soup:
Heat oil in Dutch oven or large saucepan over medium high heat; brown meat. Stir in remaining ingredients except mixed vegetables; bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover. Simmer 1 1/4 hours, stirring occasionally. Add vegetables; simmer 15 to 20 minutes until beef and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaves.
