- round steak
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- can golden mushroom soup - 1 item
- canned tomatoes - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
How to make easy swiss steak:
Pound meat with hammer. Melt shortening in a skillet. Add meat, brown on both sides. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Steak.
