Easy rolls
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- warm water
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
- box yellow cake mix any kind - 1 item
How to make easy rolls:
Mix all ingredients in large bowl; let rise 1 hour. Don't knead. Cover to keep warm. Remove and divide into thirds. Flour board or table lightly. Roll as thin as noodles. Spread with melted margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll like jelly roll. Slice 2 to 3-inch circles. Put 6 in greased pie pans or larger, more in larger pan. Let rise 3 hours; bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Frost with favorite icing. These freeze well. Makes 3 to 4 dozen.Recipe categories: Breads, < 30 mins, 5 ingredients or less.
