Easy rhubarb cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar
- soda - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- buttermilk or sour milk - 1 c
- white sugar
- finely cut rhubarb - 2 c
How to make easy rhubarb cake:
Topping:1/4 c. white sugar1 tsp. cinnamon Cream sugar, margarine and vanilla. Add egg and buttermilk or sour milk. Sift soda and flour. Combine both mixtures; fold in rhubarb. Pour into 9 x 12-inch glass baking dish.Topping: Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over top. Bake 40 minutes at 350°.
