  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar
  • water - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • nuts - 2/3 c
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • white sugar - 1/2 c
  • apples, chopped - 4 c

How to make fresh apple cake:

Hot Sauce:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. white sugar2 Tbsp. flour1 c. water1/4 c. margarine1 tsp. vanilla Cream together. After creaming all ingredients, pour in a 9 x 13-inch pan (greased). Bake 40 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and while hot, put hot sauce on top.

Hot Sauce: Cook sugar and flour with water until thick and clear. Add butter and vanilla; pour on cake.
