Easy hot rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 6 7
- melted shortening - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
- very warm water - 3 c
How to make easy hot rolls:
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add shortening, sugar, eggs and salt. Add flour to make a stiff dough. Cover and let set 15 minutes. Refrigerate and use within one week.For rolls, take out what you need and form into rolls. Place on oiled pan. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
