Easy apple dumplings
Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 1/4 c
- dash of cinnamon - 1 item
- 5 count buttermilk biscuits - 1 item
- medium fresh apple, chopped fine - 1 item
How to make easy apple dumplings:
Mix sugar, water, margarine and cinnamon. Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes. Roll or flatten out can biscuits on floured board. Fill each with about one heaping tablespoonful chopped apples. Crimp together with fork to look like a fritter. Spray pan and place dumplings in baking dish. Pour syrup over dumplings frequently while baking. Serve warm.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Apple.
